Surface Door System Features

This system does not require a floor track. It features a uniquely designed wallmounted twin wheel guide for easy installation and unobstructed egress.

Each top roller assembly consist of two top roller assemblies each consisting of 4 nylon wheels with ball bearing axles for easy smooth rolling. Roller assemblies also feature anti-jump design with ¾” vertical adjustability.

Vertical stiles that are made of 17 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy and measure 1-1/2” in width and 1-5/16” in depth.

Horizontal rails are made of 17 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy and measure 1-5/8”in height and 1-3/16” in depth.

Top track and fascia are made of 16 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy.

Glass and mirror -all monolithic, laminated and mirrored glass products are ANSI compliant. Anti-Jump Bottom Rollers are ANSI compliant. Bottom track(s) meets ADA profile requirements and are ANSI compliant. Push/Pull Force meets ADA requirements. Push/Pull rolling performance is ANSI compliant. Hardware system can accommodate an individual door up to 175 pounds in weight. Paint to be Electrostatic Sprayed and be 1.0 –1.4 in mil thickness.

Composition & Materials

Surface Doors consist of Vertical Stiles that are made of 17 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy, and measure 1-1/2" in width and 1-5/16" in depth. The Horizontal Rails are made of 17 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy, and measure 1-5/8" in height and 1-3/16" in depth. The Top Track is made of 16 gauge aluminum, 6063 alloy. The Fascia is made of 17 gauge aluminum, 6063 or 6065 alloy. The surface door does not require a floor track. A twin roller mounted on a wall bracket is utilized to secure the door to the wall, not allowing the door to swing away from the surface of the wall. This hardware system can accomodate an individual door that does not exceed 175 pounds in weight.
